AGENCY PARTNER INTERACTIVE is looking for a “Manager | Project Management Office” who will provide operational/service leadership and direction to the team(s). This leader will manage a team of project managers and their talent development and establish project management standards for Agency Partner Interactive. The PMO leader will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of the team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation and disciplinary actions, as well as the direction of daily tasks and responsibilities. This position is part of Agency Partner Interactive’s extended leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Perform Agile management activities, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.

Acts as a servant-leader to core team members regarding all facets of the Agile/ Scrum framework.

Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement).

Provide subject matter expertise on management best practices, governance, standards, tools, and best practices.

Oversees sprint planning, task estimation and sequencing, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Prioritizes, tracks, and raises awareness of dependencies and blockers that are impediments to a sprint.

Manages technical components of moderately complex IT projects.

Coordinates project team activities, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.

Effective & efficient resource management such as Plan, acquiring, Developing Team, Manage Team, and Control Resources to get the desired results from the project team.

Verifies team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.

Identifies scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.

Applies a good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.

Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.

Monitor industry trends to identify project strategies, tools, and terminology changes and design/update processes accordingly.

Develop internal communication strategies or processes to ensure communication between various organizational departments.

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Ability to negotiate deadlines & deliverables between internal & external stakeholders to get them agreeing on the same outcome.

Ability to manage multiple projects’ teams.

Enforces an environment of cross-functional team collaboration, ownership, and teamwork.

Assist PMO to develop the learning & positive environment to train the team with the PMO Processes, Methodology, tools & techniques to carry out their projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis, working in an Agile Scrum environment experience leading and delivering IT projects delivery.

Minimum of 3 years of experience leading project teams.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the execution of all project events in Scrum, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog Refinements, and Daily Stand-Ups.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written. Presentation skills are desired.

Team player with consistently demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment.

Must have strong analytical skills and experience implementing process improvements.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable wearing many different hats to help facilitate IT project tracking, assist with communicating across all teams, making suggestions on more effective ways to track projects, and sending reports to c-suite executives.

Strong ability to perform analysis of small to medium complex business, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making.

Nice to Have:

Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or related PM or Agile certification would be a plus.

Experience working with Microsoft O365 products, PowerApps, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Flow, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Dynamics CRM, and Planner.

Experience using a Project Management tool such as, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tool.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to utilize technology to create innovative solutions.

Cross-functional leadership experience.
